Sometime a website may be known to transmit mal ware and/or viruses that can attack the content and images on your computer. For that reason, websites that Grandma SN does not recommend are simply listed alphabetically rather than being divided by the same types of categories on the recommended list for children, teens and young adults, adults and seniors. Additionally, Grandma SN has not included a link to sites that are not recommended to prevent the possibility someone who shouldn’t be viewing those sites winds up there. Some websites were never updated from the nineties, and still operate poorly and look worse. Other websites may sell firearms or firearm accessories on line and allow teenaged kids to beat the requirements for firearm purchases simply by using their parent’s credit cards. Some websites show gruesome content like beheadings, executions and other objectionable content that would be considered objectionable by most people. But anything listed below has had at least 75 people suggest that they are websites you may be better off avoiding.
Alphabetical listing of websites the public voted should be avoided
This website alleges it offers a more scientific approach to matchmaking, differentiating it from other dating sites. In 2006, eHarmony claimed to be responsible for 90 people finding love each day as a result of using their service. They will charge you fees that can get close to $100.00 monthly and will not hesitate to tell you, you are unmatchable and need to stay with them to improve your odds of finding a match. They have dozens of complaints with the Better Business Bureau for payment issues.
Porn Hub (no web address offered)
A website where under aged people may get free pornographic videos on most computers, tablets and mobile devices. Where possible, parental controls should be used. Adults should use discretion when visiting this website, as it is only for those interested in pornography.
The After life
This website includes a lot of flashing lights on its home page, but of greater importance we couldn’t figure out if they sold something, offered information or what. Whom ever designed this website must have been drunk or on drugs.
One of the worst designed websites on-line. Most of it has been under construction since 2004. Arrival at this website fails to provide the visitor a clue about what the website is offering.
